Want to get involved and make a difference? We have several avenues for you to get involved.

Work Teams:  Short term, strategic work teams can come alongside the ministry team at El Refugio and help with work projects (such as building, painting, sewing, and construction work) that need to be done on the property.  These teams can also share with our women and children and have an opportunity to learn valuable lessons about culture, humility, Christ-like love, and interdependence.

Vision Teams:  The focus of a vision team is to learn about a ministry and the local ministry team, listening to their challenges, successes, and needs, with the goal of increasing their understanding of how to best support the ministry.

Partnerships:  El Refugio values partnerships with other churches and entities which have common core values and desire to have a mutually encouraging and supportive long-term relationship with El Refugio.

Host a Jewelry Party:  Hosting a jewelry party in your home or online is an easy and fun way to promote the vision of El Refugio, and show your support for women who are victims of violence as they begin a new life.

Host A US Fundraising Event:  We have ideas for large fundraising events in the US but need people who are interested in organizing and hosting these events.  If you are skilled at details and organization we would love to talk to you!
